NEWS OF THE GRADUATES

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the graduation of the first students of the School (then part of the unified School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of NTUA). On this occasion, a commemorative event was held at the Polytechnic Campus of Zografou on Friday, May 24, 2024 with the participation of 1974 graduates from the Schools of Naval Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering.

The event began with a tour of the School’s premises and continued in the Multimedia Auditorium with a greeting by the Vice Rector Mr.Lagaros, speeches on behalf of the three Faculties Mr.Belibasakis (Dean of the School of NMM), Mr.Chanakas (Dean of the School of Emmy) and Mr.V. Spitas (Deputy Dean of the School of MS), the Emeritus Professors Th. Loukakis (MSc. NTMM), D. Kourenos (MSc. MM) and E. Protonotarios (MSc. EMMY) and Mr. K. Moustakas, a graduate of MSc. The event was concluded with interventions by the alumni.
