Access

The School of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) is housed in its own building complex at the Zografou Campus.

Access by Public Transport

The closest Metro station to the NTUA Zografou Campus is “Katechaki” station.
There is a connection from the bus stop located across from the station exit via the following bus lines:

  • 242 ΣΤ.

Additionally, the Zografou gate of the NTUA campus is served by the following bus lines:

For both bus lines, the “8th Zografou stop” is the most convenient for arrival. It is located near the intersection of Papagou Avenue and Gr. Kousidi Street. The Zografou gate is located at 9 Heroon Polytechniou Street. For departure, the “9th Zografou stop,” which is situated next to the gate, is the most convenient.

The bus routes are not determined by NTUA but by OASA (Athens Urban Transport Organization, information available by calling 185).

There is also an NTUA Campus bus line that connects the two campuses: Patision and Zografou. Departure times are 7:15, 9:15, and 11:15 from Stournari Street, and 8:05, 10:15, and 14:30 from the Zografou Campus (Administration Building).

Access by Other Means

Vehicles typically enter through the Kokkinopoulou and Katechaki gates. Entry through the Zografou gate is allowed for vehicles during morning hours (07:00–09:00) and exit between 14:00–16:00, while pedestrian access remains open at all times. During the evening hours and on weekends, the Kokkinopoulou gate remains closed.

While driving along the ring road of the NTUA Zografou Campus, turn at the bus stop marked “Shipbuilding Building” to reach the School’s premises. Parking spaces are available around the building, each located near one of its entrances.

NTUA also operates a car pooling network. You can find more information here.

If you’re a cyclist, you’ll be pleased to know that there is a bicycle lane around the perimeter of the NTUA Zografou Campus, as well as bicycle parking spots at key locations—including the School’s building.
